Before you inquire
Event Planning Questions
These answers explain how to start, what Festa can plan, and how pricing is discussed. They are general planning information. They are not a contract, a rate card, or a cancellation policy.
How do I start planning an event?
Call +1 (214) 783-7310 or send the inquiry form. Describe the occasion, the desired date, the estimated guest count, and the location if you have one. Festa uses that to decide whether a planning conversation makes sense. Sending an inquiry does not reserve the date.
What types of events can Festa help with?
Birthday parties, corporate events, private parties, children's celebrations, baby showers, holiday parties, anniversaries, graduations, weddings, and event decoration. Each has a page under Services. If your event does not fit those, say so. Festa may decline work that is outside its practice.
How early should I contact an event planner?
Contact Festa when you know the occasion and have a target date or season. Larger guest counts, Saturday dates, and holidays need more lead time because venues and vendors book up. A shorter timeline can still be discussed. Some vendors may already be unavailable, and the quote should reflect the work that remains possible.
How is event planning priced?
Festa does not publish an hourly rate, a package price, or a wedding-planner fee on this website. An estimate depends on the event type, the guest count, the complexity, the location, the timeline, and which tasks you want Festa to handle. Venue, catering, entertainment, and rentals are separate costs unless a quote lists them. Questions such as how much a party planner costs, or how much a wedding planner costs in general, do not have one honest number. The useful answer is a quote for your event.
What information is required for an estimate?
The occasion, a desired date or a note that the date is flexible, an estimated guest count, the city or venue situation, and the kind of help you want. A budget range is optional. It is your range for the event, not a Festa fee. The more of this you can share, the more specific the quote can be. Missing facts are called out rather than guessed.
Can event planning be customized?
Yes. The plan is built from your priorities. You can ask for planning only, planning plus styling, or a narrower task such as a timeline and vendor coordination. Custom does not mean every idea is included. The written scope is what you are agreeing to review.
How are vendors selected?
Festa can research vendors that fit the event and the constraints you name, such as guest count or a date. You approve who is contacted and who is hired. Festa does not claim an exclusive vendor list on this website, and a suggestion is not a guarantee that the vendor is available or is the right fit.
Can Festa help with venue coordination?
Yes, when venue coordination is part of the agreed scope. That can include comparing options, tracking what a venue includes, and aligning the timeline with the venue's rules. The rental contract is still between you and the venue unless a different arrangement is written down. The Preston Road address is not a venue.
What should I prepare before contacting Festa?
A short description of the celebration, who the event is for, the date or season, the guest range, and anything already booked. If you have a must-have or a hard limit, write that down. You do not need a mood board, a final headcount, or a venue contract to start.
What happens after I submit an inquiry?
If email delivery is configured, Festa receives the form and follows up using the phone number or email you provided. If email delivery is not configured, the form says so and does not store the inquiry. In that case, call. A follow-up is a conversation about fit and scope. It is not a confirmation that Festa will take the event.
Are changes possible after the plan is approved?
Changes can be requested. Whether they are possible depends on the date, the vendors, and the agreement you have with Festa. A change can affect timing and price. This page does not promise a set number of revisions.
What should I know about cancellations?
This website does not state a cancellation fee, a deposit, or a refund rule. Those terms belong in a service agreement if you and Festa decide to work together. Vendor and venue contracts can have their own cancellation terms. Read those documents before you sign them. Canceling an inquiry before any agreement simply means you are not moving ahead.
Does a low or high budget change whether Festa will talk?
Share the range if you have one. Festa would rather know a limit early than design a plan you cannot use. There is no minimum published on this site. If the requested work does not fit the range, Festa should say that instead of trimming the plan in secret.
